CAROLYN M. MILLER - RIDG Owner, Director & President

CAROLYN M. MILLER, NCMG, has been the Director and President of the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming, Inc. since 1984. Ms. Miller began her career in Professional Pet Grooming in 1969 as the owner of LePompadour Poodle Parlor in Hamburg, New York. In 1981, upon moving to Rochester, New York, she began instructing at the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming and purchased the school in 1984. Carolyn is a Certified Master Groomer accredited by the National Dog Groomers Association of America and a Walks'n'Wags Pet Care certified Pet First Aid Instructor.


SUE DZIEDZIECH has owned and operated Creature Comforts Pet Sitting since 1984. In 1990, Sue completed a Feline & Canine Behavioral Course at Cornell University. She included Professional Pet Grooming to her credentials after graduating from the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming in 1997. Sue Operates a grooming salon both in her home and has a shop in Ontario, New York.


VICTORIA BOCHORSKI, Certified Master Groomer, began showing Irish Setters at the age of 10 and showed at Westminster in 1972 at the age of 12. In 200l, Victoria began showing Briards, and shows and breeds to this day. Victoria graduated from the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming in January 2005 and worked for Amanda Patterson at Paw Prints in Hilton from January 2005 until February 2006 before opening her own salon, Starbarks Grooming. Victoria began teaching in May 2007. Victoria is also a certified Walks’n’Wags Pet Care pet first aid instructor.


A graduate of The Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming in August of 2004. Sue owns and operates Little Charmers Pet Grooming located in Irondequoit, New York. Sue began teaching in 2008.


AMANDA PATTERSON-INZINNA began showing dogs in the early 70's at a young age. In the late 70's she started her career with Shetland Sheepdogs (Shelties). Mandy attended SUNY Canton Agricultural Tech. College from 1981 to 1983 obtaining her Associates Degree as an Animal Health Technician. She has worked for various Animal Hospitals both in the Thousand Islands and Rochester, New York. In 1987 Mandy attended The Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming. In January 1989 she opened Patterson's Paw Prints, and also acquired her Master Groomer Certification. Mandy closed her shop in August 2006 in order to spend more time teaching, and has been an instructor at the school since 1990. In 2010, she returned to the Alexandria Bay, New York area to open Canine Castle All Breed Pet Grooming.


SUSAN MANNING joined the RIDG team in March of 2016 as Office Manager. After travelling extensively, and living in the NC Mountains for 20 years, she returned to the area in 2006 to spend more time with family. Susan, her spouse, and their critters live nearby in Rush.


RACHEL BARTZ, NCMG, graduated from the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming in October of 1995, and has been grooming ever since. She began working full time at Happy Dog Grooming in January of 2013. Rachel began Master Groomer testing in August of 2013, and completed her certification in May of 2015. She is a former instructor at RIDG, and is active in competition grooming. A former instructor here, Rachel is now a consultant for the school.
